editThis is a bit sad; it’s just a load of red links to 2 letter codes, which not a clue what the refer to; there’s not even a link to Hague’s convoyweb, which I would think would be a much better source for this than u-boat.net.
I’d like to fix this; If there are no objections I’ll group them by routes, and add a note on what each one was, with whatever links I can find. Xyl 54 (talk) 12:35, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
- On second thoughts it's better as an alphabetical list, so I'll do that. Xyl 54 (talk) 08:13, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
Deletion?
editAs I've already made a proposal for improvement, I wish to object to this article being proposed for deletion. Xyl 54 (talk) 11:30, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I've started to improve it, so i've removed the tag. Xyl 54 (talk) 08:12, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
Proposed Merge
editThis article seems very similar to the List of World War II convoys with a significant difference about alphabetical versus regional groupings. Thewellman (talk) 16:52, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
- I can see a value in having both lists, this one purely alphabetical and the other in groups. With over 300 convoy routes it needs to be cross-referenced somehow. (I haven't done much here recently, as I lost the use of the copy of Hague I was using, but I've re-acquired it, so I'm hoping to continue here). Xyl 54 (talk) 01:07, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
KRS
editThe KRS convoys would appear to be UK - Med per this webpage Mjroots (talk)
- It does say that, but Hague doesn’t have a KRS code; he does list Strathallan as being in KMF 5 though, and so does Uboatnet, so I think the website is mistaken. It also lists the U-boat involved as LI-562, which may indicate spelling mistakes, or something. Anyway I've taken it out from here.Xyl 54 (talk) 23:25, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
GA convoys
