Section "Before the Great Fire of 1852" unsubstantiated claims, no sources

This paragraph is all over. It starts with the date of foundation of Montreal, and moves on to the claim that Irish and Chinese citizens were the most affected by the fire. The foundation date is irrelevent, and the claim that "Wealthy French-Canadians (who) moved to the area in search of a new place to settle" makes no sense. What period are we talking about? By the time these people were called "French-Canadians" they would have been British subjects and not settlers in the sense that is meant here.

The claim on the economic situation in Montreal prior to the fire and the fact that "it left houses and stores with out any business or tenants" is interesting if it can be corroborated by credible sources.

As for that phrase: "Prior to Great Fire of 1852, there were "several other fires and problems that occurred. The most notable was when the Parliament building was set ablaze in 1849"; it would be best to refer to the Wikipedia articles on the Rebellions of 1837-1838 and the Burning of the Parliament instead of vague assertions that fail to explain the social troubles associated with them.

Finally, this: "there were four more major blazes in the early 1850s that consumed many of Montreal's housing districts. These fires destroyed over 350 different buildings in the span of two years"; again, the years and sources documenting these events should be mentionned.

No editing was done as I am not confident enough in my ability to change the article, plus it is basic courtesy to inform someone that their work is in need of complete re-writing and researching.
