Polish American?
editIt says on that he is a Polish American on the List of Polish Americans page, but it says that nowhere on this page. Where is the proof that he is Polish? SilentRage 01:32, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Snitsky's height
editI downgraded him from 6'8" (203 cm) to 6'7" (201 cm). Snitsky has always appeared 3" - 4" shorter than Kane in their matches.
Further evidence: There are photos floating around of 6'5" (6' 4-7/8" actual) NFL player Ben Roethlisberger and 6'8" Max Starks (6' 7-1/4" actual) with various WWE superstars. In the pictures Kane has at least 3" on Roethlisberger (hard to nail down because Ben has an ample amount of hair and a beanie on in the pic) with Ben's eye level clearly below the very base of Kane's nose.
Snitsky in these photos appears no taller than Roethlisberger and is clearly much shorter than Starks. There is clearly more of a height disparity between Roethlisberger and Kane than there is between Roethlisberger and Starks in the photos; by my estimation Kane would appear 1" taller than Starks had they been photographed together.
Additionally, in the photos Starks appears exactly the same height as Viscera who has always looked over an inch shorter than Kane.
In a nutshell, Snitsky is at least 3" shorter than Kane, but I went conservative with the height downgrade and gave him 6'7" though I believe him to be under 6'5" in bare feet to the Undertaker's 6' 7-1/2" bare feet height and Kane's 6' 8-1/4" bare feet height. Manssiere 18:02, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- Gene is a friend of mine (he used to work out at the same gym I go to before he signed with the WWE)... I can tell you that he's about a head taller than me -- and I'm 6'2"! I don't know if any footwear contributed to his height, though, only because I'm too busy looking up to see his face when I spiel with him. --CJ Marsicano 15:20, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
- Snitsky is a huge guy but he is definitely much shorter than Kane (6'8"), Undertaker (6' 7-1/2"), Viscera (6'6"-6'7") or Max Starks (6' 7-1/4"). Take a look at this pic with Snitsky and Ben Roethlisberger (6'5" NFL billed) and Max Starks (6'8" NFL billed).

Kane is 6'9(round about) snitsky is definatly 6'5. how the hell did he get 6'8? hes as tall as hiedenrich who is also 6'5. snisky is 4 icnhes shorter than kane and i saw a pic of kane and starks and kane is abit taller than him and viscera has never been taller than kane. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.154.35.243 (talk) 07:50, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
Wrestlers ALWAYS are billed as Taller than they REALLY are, it's part of Kayfabe, they look so huge in the ring, it's a part to make them larger than life. Examples are Undertaker, he's 6"6. Steve Austin is 5"11. Kennedy is 5"10. Samoa Joe is billed 6"0 or 6"1 290lbs? He's 5"7 233lbs in reality. Edge isn't 6"5, he's 6"3. Vince McMahon isn't 6"2. Psycho Sid Justice , like Snitski here is billed as 6"8, really, they are both 6"5. I'm 6"4 myself, and have my picture taken with Golddust billed 6"6, and I'm AT LEAST 2 inches taller than him, he's 6"2. It's just apart of the business, it's why they are "Billed". Scott Steiner is "Billed from Detroit, the Motor City" Really? He's from Bay City, the same city as me. It's Kayfabe people. -LtColonelBlack
Actually, LtColonelBlack, that's NOT TRUE. None of that is true. YES SOME are billed larger than they actually are, Abyss is actually only 6'5", not 6'9". I've met him, I looked him dead in the eye. But the wrestlers you listed ARE NOT that short. Edge IS 6'3". Crash Underride 22:07, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
Snitsky's Weight
editIs Snitsky really 300 lbs? Kane is only said to be 290. But Kane looks a lot bigger next to Snitsky.
Steroids
editI think he could be using steroids... I can not think of any other way he would have so many pimples... chadking704 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.171.86.158 (talk) 07:18, 28 February 2007 (UTC).
I agree. He is so freakin' ugly. 24.13.2.34 02:30, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Or maybe he just has a skin condition that he can;'t medicate... Adult acne is hideous and painful and usually not treatable for one reason or another, I would not be so quick to toss Snitsky under the bus. Cosmic Larva 19:33, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
He is ugly. It says that he has a wife and she must be ugly as well. Sha0000 24 March 2007
Wow we bow to your superior knowledge. Why should we care if he's ugly- are you gay or something? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.229.27.251 (talk) 00:01, August 26, 2007 (UTC)
he is on steroids, u can tell. he looks alot bigger than before.

Picture
editWhy is his old picture up, we should have a photo of the new Snitsky in ECW
NO! At least with his hair, he looks normal. Completely shaven, he just screams "FAT BALD FUCK", especially when he does the Goldberg thing and opens his mouth as wide as possible just to look more ugly than he already is. AndarielHalo 15:55, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Yes you should put a new picture up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kennedyniles (talk • contribs) 01:42, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Characteristics
editRemoved the comment "Since he dyed his teeth yellow there have been a few signs out Snitsky needing Colgate toothpaste." As it's not really information, just a joke thrown in the article. JJ Dangerously 14:31, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

Being Mcmahon's "bastard son"
edit"On September 10, it was revealed that Snitsky was the "illegitimate bastard son" of WWE chairman Vince McMahon after months of speculation. It was rumored to have been Ken Anderson (ring name Mr. Kennedy) but after he was suspended due to the WWE Wellness Policy, the company rushed to the change the storyline."
Either someone can see the future or this is obvious vandilism and should be removed. 24.74.181.202 21:36, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
save us.222
editWhy does it lead us to Snitsky's page. Should it atleast take us to the WWE page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.226.221.250 (talk) 19:03, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

- Oppose Like the proposed JTG move, his name is too new for me to support moving. He has used multiple stage names, two during his 4 year tenure in WWE, which includes the current article title Gene Snitsky. Again, I don't see how the proposed name is more notable than the current title. — Moe ε 11:57, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

Gene Snitsky → Snitsky – He is far better known as just "Snitsky" than he is as "Gene Snitsky." GeicoHen (talk) 01:59, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose - I seem to remember Gene "It Wasn't My Fault" Snitsky getting a bigger push than the bald yellow-toothed monster simply known as "Snitsky". Too close for me to call either way.LM2000 (talk) 02:58, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose - He was referred to as Gene Snitsky on TV many many times, even when he was just billed as Snitsky announcers would refer to him as Gene Snitsky. Not to mention it is basicly his real name. STATic message me! 03:12, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose Same as Batista or Goldberg, use only the last name, but sometimes, people calls them Dave or Bill. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 12:10, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
