Image copyright problem with File:Pingtung County emblem.png
editThe image File:Pingtung County emblem.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Requested move 19 September 2014
edit- The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
Moved as proposed. Proponents of the move note an absence of a need to disambiguate. Opposition to the move is generally described by opposers as "weak", and does not specifically outline a policy of the project with which this move would conflict. bd2412 T 14:29, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
Fangliao, Pingtung → Fangliao – No need for the disambiguation. Szqecs (talk) 13:37, 19 September 2014 (UTC)

- Support - per Google Books only subject. In ictu oculi (talk) 01:19, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose - Scrapping Pingtung confuses people. Also, Fangliao may look like a person.--George Ho (talk) 20:25, 28 September 2014 (UTC)
- Support No need to disambiguate. Don't see how it can confuse people if it's the only subject with this name. Number 57 20:05, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
- Weak oppose for now. Is there no applicable naming convention? Category:Townships in Pingtung County shows that almost all similar articles have the county name included, whether or not there is another page with the same title. Dekimasuよ! 00:36, 16 October 2014 (UTC)
- Support. Per WP:CRITERIA, this is Unnecessary Disambiguation. --В²C ☎ 00:08, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
- Weak oppose. As close to a line call as I've ever seen, but either way we should create a relevant naming convention and apply to other similar articles. Andrewa (talk) 13:11, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
- There is already a naming convention. It's called WP:PRECISION. Be precise but only as precise as necessary. — AjaxSmack 23:30, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
- Support. No need for disambiguation as Fangliao already redirects to the town. I'm also mystified by the various oppose rationales ("looks like a person"?). The lack of a country-specific naming convention should simply mean a default to Wikipedia policy, i.e. WP:PRECISION/WP:CRITERIA. — AjaxSmack 23:30, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
