Edivaldo Rojas → Edvaldo Hermoza –
His surname actually Hermoza but since 2011 (inside Bolivia only) incorrectly refer as Rojas, as they incorrectly though it is a Spanish name (Portuguese media was right, using Hermoza). Portuguese naming custom is Rojas (mother) Hermoza (father) but Spanish should be Hermoza-Rojas (father-mother), The common Spanish spelling of his given name is Edivaldo but in his Naval shirt it is Edvaldo (Portugese spelling?), However Bolivia FA use Edivaldo Rojas as his official name.
Source for without i
- CBF
- LPFP
- A Bola
- Record (Portuguese media)
- Note: Bolivian FA use with i and submit to CONMEBOL with i.
P.S. Alternative way was move to full name, keeping both surname, just likes the case of Marcelo Moreno Martins It is a different case compared to F1 driver Senna, as Senna publicly should shown he would like to refer as Senna instead of Silva but in Edvaldo career, he only refered as Bolivia or Edvaldo but never Hermoza nor Rojas. - In my opinion, the page name is quite good as it is now, the player has changed his footballing name to "EDIVALDO", and the title of the page contains that name. Either that or "BOLIVIA (BOLIVIAN FOOTBALLER)" is correct i think. --Vasco Amaral (talk) 22:42, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
- Also, if his name contains "EDIVALDO", why do you want do change the page to "EDVALDO". Makes no sense i believe. If we have "EDIVALDO", which is how he calls himself nowadays, it's indifferent if the other name in article is "ROJAS" or "HERMOZA". Another possibility is moving it to the full name, "EDIVALDO ROJAS HERMOZA". --Vasco Amaral (talk) 23:03, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

Edivaldo Rojas → Edivaldo Hermoza –
- Ok, the i or without i issue solved. A had a (pirate) copy of full match replay, despite it is blur, seems it is Edivaldo, instead of his official name in Brazil documents . Matthew_hk tc 20:59, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
