Methanol or Ethanol
editIn the second paragraph (i think) It talks about methanol and ethanol and then compared methanol to hydrogen. it seems like it is supposed to be ethanol there but i do not want to make the change because i may be wrong. Could someone check?
- You're right. Good eyes. Fixed now --DV8 2XL 01:05, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Issues section
editSaid section seems to spend more time detailing solutions by various companies than the problems they attempt to solve. Can someone make this more general and less like a series of ads? 67.189.108.27 11:12, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
Overall Article seems scientifically lacking
editThe article seems to be missing several things I expect in a fuel cell article. First, the chemical reactions for the cell are not given. Second, no mention of the PEM that the fuel cell uses is given. Third, the other operating requirements are not given. Fourth, in the issues section the part about platinum based catalysts is somewhat misleading, as if expense of the catalyst is an issue it should be mentioned in all of the PEM electrolyte based articles. Also, some of the references do not work. Darkagl1 (talk) 17:15, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Other sources of Ethanol
editA number of partnarships are forming to produce ethanol from non-plant material: http://www.technologyreview.com/business/23009/ http://www.technologyreview.com/energy/23039/ http://www.technologyreview.com/business/23073/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.39.35.52 (talk) 05:11, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
