AFAIK, the bible says that the waters stood in a heap 'far above the city of adam'. (Joshua 3:16). that would seem to suggest to me that they crossed the jordon AT the city of adam. Since they crossed at Gilgal and Gilgal faces the 'pass of Adummim' I tend to think there may be something to this. Lemmiwinks2 (talk) 20:11, 10 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
