Things I'm not able to verify
editI'm pulling out the following items that I'm not able to verify, but maybe someone else will now how to find them:
- That she was born in St Pancras, London
- As a suffragette Caroline Townshend spent two weeks in London's Holloway prison for women. I think this belongs to her mom - not to Caroline. They may have been some confusion because her mother's name was Emily Caroline Townshend.
- During World War I Townshend was a nurse in France. Based on information from geneaological records, considered non-reliable for citations, Townshend was a nurse during World War I. he Townsend (Townshend) Family Records.
- During the Second World War, Townshend, Joan Howson and Margaret Aldrich Rope moved to a large house in North Wales and ran as a home for children evacuated from Fulham and Liverpool.
- Townshend died in Pwllheli in Caernarvonshire, Wales
- A regular staff of three craftsmen was employed and others taken on for large commissions. One of the partnership's most important commissions, begun in 1933 and continued after 1945, was the repair of the fourteenth century windows of New College, Oxford.--CaroleHenson (talk) 05:41, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- Educated at St Andrew’s in Scotland[citation needed]--CaroleHenson (talk) 05:47, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
