Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Arianna Huffington. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Which do the contours of her eyes stand out as whiter than her face? I think we should change it to a more neutral picture.Zigzig20s (talk) 04:41, 20 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

She applied highlighter makeup in the normal manner, except she overdid it, or used some with an exceptionally high albedo, or—most likely—the angle of reflection of the bright lights/flash to the camera created that effect. I agree, it's startling and distracting in the article. It has to be replaced. Johanna-Hypatia (talk) 12:28, 15 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi, i'm asking to myself if the 2016 project by Arianna "Thrive Global" (but also her 2014 book "Thrive: The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom, and Wonder") is someway related to the 2011 film "Thrive: What On Earth Will It Take?"

see Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Thrive_(film), it:Thrive_(film_2011)

On her HuffingtonPost appear an article about the film in 2011 (huffingtonpost.com "Thrive : Deconstructing the Film" - 12/28/2011 by Georgia Kelly)

does anybody have info about this? somewhere Arianna spoke about the film as inspirations for the new omonimous projects? (please post links about)

if elements about this hypothesis/question are present, the fact can be placed in the Arianna article, maybe on "Career", or "Religious views", or "Personal life"

thank you and excuse me for bad english

Undisclosed Paid Editing

edit

Since nobody has mentioned it before, I figured I'd bring it up. I could see this article having editors that were paid to edit it based on the information that's there. That being said, no one has started discussing it here, and there haven't been many edits to the page to address it. Edits to come. KrackenUni (talk) 16:26, 13 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

@KrackenUni: Thanks. That tag seems to have been added by @Cathradgenations: almost one year ago without comment, followed by a vague assertion in an edit comment mentioning an unnamed "contributor to this encyclopedia page". The same user added the Advert template in January 2021, post-dated to July 2020. I've removed the templates for now, as they are not meant to be permanent badges of shame, and see while there is room for discussing the relevance or due weight given certain elements, I don't see anything that looks like blatant advertising. Specific examples of objectionable content should be discussed here, as should specific examples of suspected undisclosed paid editing. --Animalparty! (talk) 22:25, 18 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
yeah but it's also poorly written by those people, so whatever i guess. 84.64.72.231 (talk) 06:05, 27 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Bernard Levin

edit

Why is there nothing on her longterm affair with the British journalist Bernard Levin? It was his contacts and protection which made her career possible. Rustygecko (talk) 16:47, 3 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

There is a very brief sentence on it under /* Early Life */. However, beginning at "In 1971, Huffington", the rest of that section appears to have been lifted from Thrive Global. Just straight copy/paste. OIM20 (talk) 13:08, 30 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
