– The city page should be the main topic for the name Aomori, as the prefecture was named after the city upon its formation in the Meiji period. The other names included in the disambiguation page are either named after the city or prefecture, aside from maybe the voice actor Shin Aomori. ❯❯❯ Mccunicano☕️ 06:21, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Note: the Aomori page is a disambiguation page with significant content, so it is ineligible as a "new" title unless it is also proposed to be renamed. This request has been altered to reflect that fact. P.I. Ellsworth ed. put'r there 15:36, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
Support, per nom. Better to have the disambiguation page clearly labeled as such. Slithytoad (talk) 04:14, 28 October 2020 (UTC)!vote by sock of community-banned User:Kauffner struck. Favonian (talk) 10:00, 3 November 2020 (UTC)- Support Most things on the disambiguation page are named after the city.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 00:23, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

- @Editorq35: Good find. I would suggest instead of adding this proposal to this article which relates to the city of Aomori, that it be added to the Aomori Prefecture article, the Mutsu, Aomori article or both. ❯❯❯ Mccunicano☕️ 21:31, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
