While the History of Parliament Online (pub. 1982) refers to Browne as having died on 28 April 1548 at Byfleet, both the DNB and the ODNB (pub. 2004) give a date of 6 May 1548 and refer to his tomb inscription as the source. Looking more closely, the ODNB article published online in 2008 used the 28 April date, while an update in 2014 uses the 6 May date. In light of this, I assume 6 May is the more likely date of death and am changing the article accordingly. Choess (talk) 03:48, 1 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
