C-Class article of low-importance a standalone on Wikipedia, and Cumberland City Council article already has a section with several paragraphs on the matter. This article while newsworthy is reflective of a blog post rather than an encyclopaedia article. ThelmaThompson45 (talk) 11:28, 19 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Oppose Ban had pretty significant coverage and I think it can stand on its own, there may be further coverage as an aftermath with the council elections next month as well Totallynotarandomalt69 (talk) 10:48, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Strongly oppose Yes, the coverage was very significant and it went for a few months. It was reported statewide and also nationwide in national media outlets. Moreover, this was the most prominent LGBT controversy in Australia, hence the article is very important. Yucalyptus (talk) 09:16, 17 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
