Name of the article
editThe name of the article is a little bit clunky, does it follow the name of another article (or a source)? What about if we change to "2019 Acarigua prison mutiny" so it can look similar to the Spanish article. More proposals are welcome. --MaoGo (talk) 18:09, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- Reuters uses "police station cellblock riot" --MaoGo (talk) 18:11, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- Venezuelan sources are using mutiny while English sources are using riot. AP used uprising.MaoGo (talk) 18:23, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- Things to be decided "uprising, riot or mutiny", "prison, cellblock", "police station or not", "2019, is the year necessary?", "Acarigua or Portuguesa", etc.--MaoGo (talk) 18:33, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- If I had to propose something I will go with Acarigua police cellblock mutiny (this one is to be close to Spanish sources) or Acarigua police cellblock riots. @Kingsif and Jamez42:.--MaoGo (talk) 20:30, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- Oh ok the name is based on 2018 Valencia, Venezuela fire which is also very clunky. As suggested, shouldn't it be 2019 Valencia, Venezuela, fire? Same with this uprising. --MaoGo (talk) 22:11, 25 May 2019 (UTC)e
- I'd suggest "Acarigua prison riot" and similar titles. --Jamez42 (talk) 23:20, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
- I think "Acarigua prison riot" might be the most standard (I originally used Portuguesa with the hope that at least more people have heard of the state) Kingsif (talk) 02:35, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
- I changed the name. I wanted to use police station cellblocks to insist that not every detainee had a hearing. --MaoGo (talk) 11:18, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
- @MaoGo: Oh, I understand. I don't know how common is the word in English, but it's an important point; this is something very common in Venezuela, cellblocks are supposed to be only for temporary detainment. --Jamez42 (talk) 10:17, 27 May 2019 (UTC)

There is also the distinction between "jail" and "prison" in English. Jail indicates a shorter duration. --MaoGo (talk) 10:42, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
names of the deceased
editEnglish Wikipedia isn't known for having such lists, but if whomever is updating the Spanish Wikipedia article wants the list, it's available in this article https://elpitazo.net/los-llanos/comision-forense-inicio-reconocimiento-de-cadaveres-tras-motin-de-acarigua/ Kingsif (talk) 06:20, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
