Karaj Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Karaj, Iran.[1] This system has 2 operating lines with 10 working stations. The planned system will include 6 lines and 76 stations.

Line 1 with 7 stations is an extension and a part of Tehran Metro Line 5[1] with 7 operating stations in 43 km (26.7 mi), connecting Hashtgerd to Garmdarreh.[2] Line 2 opened partially on 27 February 2023 with 2 stations in 6.5 km (4.0 mi),[1] later that year another station was added, making the total stations of this line, 3.[3] This line currently connects Golshahr boulevard to Taleghani boulevard,[4] but is planned to connect Kamalshahr to Malard.[1]
