Fair use for The Vandals
editThis image, Vandals_Sadr_City.jpg, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I IllaZilla 05:09, 9 July 2007 (UTC) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because it is a photograph documenting an unrepeatable event, and can therefore not reasonably be replaced with a free image showing the same event. The photograph serves a substantive nature as it illustrates a subject discussed in the article paragraph in which it appears. Namely, the image shows the band The Vandals performing for U.S. troops in Sadr City, Baghdad in 2004, an event which was significant to the band's career and was the subject of some controversy. This event and the accompanying controversy are discussed in the article alongside the photo. IllaZilla 05:09, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
