Took Leng How, a Malaysian-born man working in Singapore as a vegetable packer who was found guilty in a 2005 trial of the murder of Huang Na, a China-born student, in 2004. His appeal was turned down in January 2006, and a plea of clemency to the President in October 2006. Took was executed by hanging.
