The Crown Hotel, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England, after 1847 when it had been remodelled by architect I.T. Shutt. This picture shows a hunt meet in front of the hotel, which mainly served visitors to the spa.

Later, in 1870, developer George Dawson and architect J.H. Hirst removed the side buildings and added two large wings, giving it the appearance that it has today.
