Summary

Description
English: This is a simulated example of a videogame as it might have appeared on a PC with EGA, TGA, or the PCjr graphics hardware, compared to how it might have appeared on a PC with only CGA graphics.

This image of the open source (CC-BY-SA 4.0) videogame [1] has been cropped and scaled to 320x200 and then sized back up for convenient display on modern computers. It is shown first in the 16-color RGBI palette, then in one of the three color palettes that were available on the CGA.

Visual fidelity could be increased further with careful dithering by hand. This image was created using Photoshop, not by actual display on a real or emulated machine.
