DescriptionSwansea Paxton Street 1 Locomotive Depot geograph-2210749.jpg
English: Swansea Paxton Street Locomotive Depot: an 0-8-4T.
Ex-London & North Western Bowen-Cooke 7F 0-8-4T No. 7941 was employed on the steeply graded line up to Pontardulais, the extremity of the Central Wales Line to Swansea Victoria which was closed to passengers on 15/6/64, to goods on 4/10/65. (The friendly Shed Foreman had this engine proudly positioned for me to photograph).
