Description
English: Reykjavík. Of the buildings still standing the most regognizable are the governor's house on the left (amtmannshúsið; stjórnarráðið), the cathedral in the middle (dómkirkjan) and the college on the right (MR). Also seen up in the hill is the Reykjavík mill, which used to be a landmark of Reykjavík, but no longer exists. The Pond (Tjörnin) reaches farther inland than it does now.
