Summary

Description
English: Quinton Meadows, a site of importance for nature conservation, is sandwiched between the M5 motorway and the Quinton Expressway. 18 acres of the meadows were sold off for the development of Quinton Business Park in the early 2000s; 25 acres remain. The grass is kept long to encourage wildlife and wildflowers, with a shorter cut for the perimeter path. The meadows are managed by Birmingham City Council. The photograph was taken at the southern end of the meadows, bordering junction 3 of the M5 and shows the view northwards to one of the office blocks overlooking the meadows.
