English: Ponui Passage Lighthouse. The island in the background is Pakihi. Photographer unidentified. The dilapidated original cottage structure, which housed the lighthouse keeper, was moved in 1938 to Chamberlin's farm on Ponui Island; the lighthouse was automated at that point, and the light itself put on a lower structure.
