English: December 1927 newspaper advertisement promoting the premiere for the film Policing the Plains. This text-only image was used by the production company as an advertisement to promote the film's premiere screening, 91 years ago. It appeared in the Toronto Daily Star on December 12, 1927, p. 17. The production company, Policing the Plains Productions Ltd., was dissolved by order of the BC Registrar of Companies on November 13, 1930. (Policing the Plains Productions Ltd., May 29, 1928 – Oct. 17, 1929, BC Registrar of Companies file no. BC-8342, pp. 81-87, BC Archives.). There is no corporate successor to the production company. |
