Summary

Description
English: Around 19 examples of the so-called Mirror Case design can be seen on Pictish Standing Stones (around 1200 to 1500 years old) in situ in NE Scotland or in (mainly) Scottish museums. They have two main patterns - "solid" and "hollow", often with additional concentric and other circles or dots - they generally look like a ring sitting on a base.
