English: Shaft pits with platform are typical of the graves in Yanghai. Most of the burials were with the legs bent at the knees. Funeral goods include pottery jars and wooden basins, and they were placed beside the skulls. Additional artifacts include iron knives, bone spindle whorls and wooden combs. Male bodies were often buried with a bow and arrows while females were buried with spindle whorls. Both wore textile and leather.
