Slovenščina: Letalo Douglas DC-3 Dakota C-47 Skytrain (spominsko obeležje druge svetovne vojne). Otok, Metlika. Letalo je bilo zadnjič v uporabi v okviru 679. transportne eskadrilje na letališču Pleša pri Zagrebu. Na travnik pri vasi Otok je bilo postavljeno leta 1984. Najprej je bilo pobarvano v barve Jugoslovanskega vojnega letalstva, v barve RAF pa je bilo prebarvano leta 1986.
English: Douglas DC-3 Dakota C-47 Skytrain aircraft (World War II memorial). Otok, Metlika (Slovenia). The plane was in use for the last time by the 679th transport squadron at the Pleša Airport, Zagreb. It was put on its current location in 1984. At first, it was painted in the Yugoslav Air Forces colours, and repainted into RAF colours in 1986.
