Summary

Description
Français : Moteur à induction deux phases de Nikola Tesla
English: Nikola Tesla's working electric induction motor model used to illustrate the claims in his patent from 1887-1888 (part of Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine collection in London).[1] This two-phase machine uses two alternating currents to produce a rotating magnetic field, eliminating the need for "brush" contacts that produced sparking in earlier motor designs.
