DescriptionMorris March for Science 2017 (29) (34211239405).jpg
Today over 220 fine folk participated in the March For Science in Morris, Minnesota, which represents a pretty significant percentage of the local populace out here in rural Minnesota. :-)
These photos go from the gathering of the marchers, through the march, and to the milling about and chatting that eventually results after a small town event.
People should feel free to use any/all of these pictures however they wish. On the flip side, if you appear in any of these pictures and would prefer to have those pictures removed, please let me know right away and I'll take care of that.
Thanks to everyone that turned up. SCIENCE IS AWESOME (and really, really important)!

We had over 220 people turn out on an *extremely* busy Saturday for the 2017 March For Science in Morris Minnesota! The march started at the University of Minnesota, Morris entrance at 4th and Columbia and went down 4th Street to Atlantic Avenue. Then we turned north up to the crosswalk at 8th Street, crossed to the other side of Atlantic, and marched back down to 6th Street. We crossed Atlantic again at 6th and marched up to the Morris Theatre, where the march ended and interested parties could attend a free showing of "Before the flood".
It was a *gorgeous* April day, and we had a great turnout from town, campus, people in the sciences and people who came to support the sciences. Huzzah!
