English: Representatives William Thomas Martin and William Luther Moehonua, survivors of the attack on the legislative assembly by Queen Emma's supporters, 12 February 1874. Kalakaua made Moehonua his first minister of the interior and later governor of O'ahu. Martin did not return to the legislature.
