A reproduction of a Malaya and British Borneo 10 dollar banknote (1953 Series). A line of watermarks has been edited out of the banknote. One such watermark was located between the Jawi texts at the bottom of the banknote, above the line "Waterlow & Sons Limited, London". The other watermark was located beneath Queen Elizabeth II's portrait below the serial number. Upon closer inspection, irregularities in the banknote's background pattern in both locations on the banknote may be detected. |
