Summary

Description Mainz von Südosten aus gesehen, vor Dezember 1631. Federzeichnung von Wenzel Hollar. Blick vom Michelsberg auf St. Alban und die Stadt samt Vorstadt "Vilzbach" und den Rhein. Der Dom trägt den hohen gotischen Helm auf dem Westturm, das gotische Geschoss mit der späteren Laterne auf der Ostgruppe. Rechts vom Dom St. Maria ad Gradus, davor der mittelalterliche Vorgängerbau der Ignazkirche mit gotischem Doppelturm. Gut erkennbar auch der dem Holzturm baugleiche Zollturm.
