DescriptionMV Lochiel memorial garden, Port Ellen - geograph.org.uk - 865591.jpg
English: MV Lochiel memorial garden, Port Ellen. A small but poignant memorial to the MV Lochiel which faithfully served Islay from 1939 to 1970. She was broken up in Bristol but fortunately some parts of her were saved to make this peaceful garden. My grandfather was the quartermaser and mate on the Lochiel for many years, so it's a special place for me.
