fair use rationale text: This image, Longewala.jpg, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I (rueben_lys) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because it depicts visually, and for want of freely available images, the scale, magnitude, and effects of the Battle of Longewala. It also depicts,in visual terms, the effect the intervention of the Indian Air Force had on the Pakistani Armour and also qualifies the desperation of the armoured column to evade the Indian Air Force's strikes.

The image does not come from a commercial source. It is therefore not a cause of loss of revenue. Though the images are not in public domain the Indian Information Act states that they can be used to dissipate information. Therefore this image is in fair use.
