Français : En 2009, les deux communes de Marin-Epagnier et Thielle-Wavre se sont unies sous le nouveau nom de La Tène. Sur le territoire de l’ancienne commune de Marin-Epagnier se trouve un site archéologique de l’âge du fer celtique : La Tène. La nouvelle commune a choisi pour emblème une épée découverte sur ce site.
Deutsch: Im Jahr 2009 vereinigten sich die beiden Gemeinden Marin-Epagnier und Thielle-Wavre unter dem neuen Namen La Tène. Auf dem Gemeindegebiet der ehemaligen Gemeinde Marin-Epagnier liegt eine Fundstelle der keltischen Eisenzeit: La Tègne. Die neu entstandene Gemeinde wählte ein an diesem Fundort ausgegrabenes Schwert als Wappenmotiv. |
