English: Khao tom kui (Thai script: ข้าวต้มกุ๊ย) is plain rice congee, a plain porridge of rice boiled in water. It is eaten with many kinds of side dishes, some of which can be seen on this image. The dish is of Chinese origin, as are most of the side dishes that are eaten with it.
