This issue of the Shimer College Bulletin is in the public domain for two reasons: it was first published in the United States prior to 1977 without a copyright notice or subsequent registration, and it was included in a duly authorized donation of college archives in 1979 under the terms of which copyright in the collection was "dedicated to the public."[1]
