Español: Juan Santamaría, héroe costarricense de la "Campaña Nacional" de 1856, el cuál se hizo famoso y aclamado por haber inmolado su vida al quemar el "Mesón de Guerra" (un sitio de hospedaje en Rivas, Nicaragua), en el cual se encontraban los filibusteros, ejército enemigo de Costa Rica y Centroamérica, con su acción se logró tomar ventaja y ganar la "Batalla de Rivas" el 11 de Abril de 1856.
