Description
Die Geschichte geht auf eine Fabel des griechischen Dichters Aesop aus dem 6. Jh. v.Chr. zurück und beschreibt, wie ein Satyr (halb Mensch, halb Pferd) einen Bauern im Wald trifft, der ihn zu sich einlädt. Die gesellige Runde endet aber im Streit, da der Satyr den Bauern nach einem Vorfall als "doppelzüngig" beschimpft. Die Geschichte ist hier bildlich in Szene gesetzt.
