HE WAS BORN IN IRKUTSK, SIBERIA. HE WAS PAID$40/WEEK TO DO THE MURAL. AFTERWARD HE BECAME THE MUSEUM’S “ARTIST IN RESIDENCE”; HE DIED IN 1995
