DescriptionHaverford College - Barclay Hall (1958).jpg
English: A photograph of Barclay Hall at Haverford College taken in 1958. Barclay Hall was designed by architect Addison Hutton and completed in 1877. Barclay Hall was the first purpose-built dormitory at Haverford College. It was completed in 1877. It had two-man suites, with a large living/study room, and two small bedrooms at either side. I transferred to Haverford in January or February 1956. I lived in Barclay Hall for my first semester at Haverford, the second semester of my sophomore year. I believe that my room was on the second floor, just beyond the tall, slim tree.
