Description
English: Gorgosaurus libratus "Elmer" at the Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago, Illinois. Discovered in 1922 in the Dinosaur Park Quarry of Alberta, Canada. Nicknamed after Field Museum paleontologist Elmer Riggs. Pictured is the 80% complete left leg, complete hip bone, and nearly complete 8-foot long tail. I piece of the snout is also displayed.
