It also has long claws on its forefeet; Habitat: Forests; Diet: Carnivore: ants, termites, other insects, worms, spiders, snakes, carrion; Reproduction: After gestating for four months, female armadillos give birth to one or two young. The young are weaned when they are 1-1.5 months old; Behavior: Armadillos are nocturnal animals. They will often sit on their hind feet, supported by their tail; Status: Endangered; Interesting Facts: The front claws can be up to 20 cm long.
