Summary

Description

The T18 class 0-6-0 tank engines were built from 1886-1888. The T18s were a simple design with 16 x 24-in. cylinders and 4-ft. 0-ins. diameter driving wheels. The boilers were derived from that used on Adams' K9 class 0-4-2Ts. After grouping they became LNER Class J-66

This photo was taken from an old original photo we came across while helping to clear the house of a deceased friend. I have uploaded it to Flickr in the hope that it might be interesting to steam enthusiasts.
