Español: Escudo del municipio de Carepa (Antioquia).

"El escudo del Municipio de Carepa muestra en la parte inferior, la integración y diversidad étnica de nuestra gente, en la parte derecha se encuentran los dos principales renglones de la encomia municipal como los son las plantaciones bananeras y la ganadería, en la parte superior izquierda muestra la serranía de abibe riqueza ecológica e hidrográfica de nuestra región, el papagayo símbolo de nuestro municipio y el río carepa, principal afluente del municipio. Aparecen también las palabras trabajo y tesón que son algunas de las cualidades de nuestra gente, el nombre del municipio y el año 1983 en el cual Carepa fue eregido municipio. Aprobado Mediante Acuerdo 045 del 13 de diciembre de 1992. Autor: Miguel Ángel Echeverri Giraldo -docente-."
