DescriptionDusky Langurs at Penang National Park.jpg
English: Dusky Langurs are leaf-eating monkeys confined mainly to Malaysia and partly to a few neighbouring countries. For the first six months of their life the infants are orange coloured. Scientists do not have strong theories on why this has evolved. There is no doubt that the orange infants are adored by other members of the troop, as shown in this photo. The mother will get assistance from others but this lessens as the infant gets older and changes colour. The species is IUC-listed as endangered due to habitat loss and a terrible, illegal trade in the infants
