DescriptionDowntown Portland Ore International House of Pancakes in 1983.jpg
An International House of Pancakes (a chain nowadays branded as IHOP) in 1983, in downtown Portland, Oregon. This restaurant was on SW Yamhill Street at Park Avenue, across Yamhill from the downtown Nordstrom store. Opened in 1966, it became a non-chain restaurant named "Yamhill's" in the late 1980s and closed in the mid-1990s. The Fox Tower now fills the entire block in which the restaurant was located.
