English: A photo of the Deputy Camp Meeting Pavilion near Deputy, Indiana. The Deputy Camp Meeting, started by the Seymour and Jeffersonville districts of the Indiana Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was held each August at a 12 acre camp ground in Deputy, Jefferson County, Indiana beginning in 1874. The camp meetings ended in 1917 with the start of World War I.
