Deutsch: Im Jahre 1409 verlieh Herzog Stefan von Bayern-Ingolstadt dem Markt (Marktrecht verliehen 1340) Schwaben das Wappen der ehemaligen Grafschaft Falkenberg.
Die Grafschaft Falkenberg war um 1272, nach dem Aussterben der Grafen, an die Herzöge (Wittelsbacher) als Lehensherren, zurückgefallen und somit war deren Wappen "ledig" und konnte uneingeschränkt weitervergeben werden. |
