English: Holy Cross parish church, Cruwys Morchard, Devon, England, seen from west-southwest. The ground and second stages of the tower are 14th- or 15th-century. The tower had a spire but it was struck by lightning in 1689, causing a fire that melted the bells. Afterward the parish chose to rebuild the bell stage in local brick.
