English: The disposition of the eight modes (main and medial signatures) of the Byzantine Octoechos and their basis tones in the diapason system, according to Chrysanthos of Madytos and the New Method (Neume Notation since 1814).
Ελληνικά: Τῶν εἰρημένων ὀκτὼ ἤχων αἱ βάσεις, ἤγουν τὰ Ἴσα ἑκάστου αὐτῶν, ὅταν ζητῆται νὰ φανερωθῶσι, καὶ ἡ σῳζομένη ἐν αὐτοῖς τάξις ἀπὸ τοῦ ὀξέος ἐπὶ τὸ βαρὺ, καὶ αἱ μαρτυρίαι αἵ τινες φανερόνουσι τοὺς ἤχους καὶ γράφονται πρὸ τῶν μελῶν, καὶ αἱ μαρτυρίαι τῶν φθόγγων τῆς μελῳδίας, αἱ τινες γράφονται περὶ τὰ μέσα αὐτῆς, εἶναι δυνατὸν νὰ ἐκφρασθῶσι μὲ τὸν τρόπον τὸν ὁποῖον παριστᾷ ὁ ἑξῆς πίναξ.
